AmkSpor report Fenerbahçe are looking to sign Everton’s Kevin Mirallas before Friday’s transfer deadline.
The Turkish newspaper claim Fenerbahçe are looking to sign a right winger after the disappointing performances of Nabil Dirar, and the Everton player has emerged as a prime target.
It’s reported Fenerbahçe have already agreed personal terms in principle with Mirallas, and the Turkish club are now looking to convince Everton over a loan move. AMKSpor say Fenerbahçe have offered €1m to Everton to loan Mirallas for the rest of the season.
However, it’s likely Everton would prefer the permanent sale of Belgian international, who joined from Olympiacos six years ago. It’s also likely they’d want a fee much higher than Fenerbahçe would want to pay.
AMKSpor report if the Turkish giants can convince Everton in the remaining three days of the Turkish transfer window, then Mirallas will become a Fenerbahçe player.
Due to arrivals at Goodison Park the 29 year old has only played 14 minutes of Premier League football this season, and with the World Cup next year, an exit wouldn’t have been a shock.
But to Fenerbahçe on loan for €1m? Maybe the Turkish media are being overly optimistic.
