The Belgian media is now bringing more updates on the race for Everton midfielder Amdou Onana.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri comes up to say that even though the interest from Arsenal and Chelsea in the player ‘stays something real’, there’s no big evolution in those chases for now.
Everton, however, seem to be getting prepared for attempts for the 21-year-old. Even though they haven’t set a price for a summer sale yet, there’ll soon be ‘meetings’ for them to decide those details.
It had been claimed that both London sides have been in constant contact with the player’s entourage, and by knowing how valuable the midfielder is, Everton were planning to make between €60m and €70m with his sale this summer.
But the plans are definitely different from telling the interested clubs how much they want for the transfer, so perhaps Tavolieri is right in saying the Toffees will still get to decide what Onana’s price tag will actually be.
