Aston Villa are seen as a threat to AC Milan in their pursuit of one of their summer targets.

That’s today written by Il Messaggero (via Milan Web), who claim both clubs are interested in signing Tammy Abraham from Roma.

It’s said that the 25-year-old ‘seems destined’ to leave the Giallorossi this summer, and both Aston Villa and Milan would like to take that opportunity to sign him.

The price is said to be an issue for the Serie A giants, because Roma spent €50m to sign the forward. According to the report, it’s believed that a fee of €40m plus bonuses would be enough to convince his club.

The story says that the interest from Aston Villa and other English clubs is an ‘important obstacle’ for Milan, because the amount ‘would not be a problem’ for Premier League sides.

Tammy Abraham has seven goals and six assists in 39 appearances his season, and his below average campaign is said to be the reason why he’s expected to leave the club.

The forward had a spell at Aston Villa in the 2018/19 season. Loaned by Chelsea, he scored 26 goals in a year with the Villans.
