According to Turkiye, Everton have offered Henry Onyekuru to Besiktas following his loan spell with their local rivals Galatasaray this season.

It’s reported the Premier League side still owe €5m to Besiktas from the transfer of Cenk Tosun 18 months ago and they’ll look to clear this debt by extending Onyekuru’s stay in Turkey.

Turkiye claim Everton have told Besiktas that they can loan Onyekuru for the next two seasons and if the Turkish side accepts this offer then the Merseyside club will not pay the final €5m instalment for Tosun.

It’s reported the Besiktas board are happy with Everton’s proposal and their president Fikret Orman will make a final decision at the end of the season.

Onyekuru’s future at Galatasaray remains uncertain but their manager Fatih Terim is keen to keep the 21 year old, who’s scored 15 league goals this season.

There have been reports this week Gala will look to double the Everton loanee’s salary if he stays with them, so they’re going to be disappointed if he moves to Besiktas.

This supposed Everton offer would seem a little too good to be true for Besiktas.

They get a two year loan of a valuable player for just €5m, and upon his Everton return he’d only have a year of contract left.
