Earlier on Thursday, we covered a story from the Italian media making it rather clear that Moise Kean would be heading to Juventus permanently.

The Everton forward has been on loan with the Serie A side since last season, and while the terms of the deal suggested that a full transfer was almost guaranteed, there was still a chance he could return.

Then came a bad run of form for the Italian, who struggled for over a year to get going again despite a good spell at Paris Saint-Germain, and there were doubts over whether Juventus would want him.

In fact, for a long period of time, the club were trying to find a way out of buying the Everton forward, hoping for someone to come in and take him off their hands, like the aforementioned Ligue 1 side.

This never happened, and the striker stayed put, but he has since found a good run of form that has changed everything.

Gazzetta dello Sport made it clear on Thursday morning the transfer to Juventus was practically a given, and this has been backed up by one of their journalists, Marco Guidi, who was speaking to Calciomercato.it.

He left little to the imagination when it came to the Everton player, stating: “Kean will 100% be bought by Juventus.”
