AC Milan could be interested in signing West Ham United forward Simone Zaza when the transfer window re-opens in January. The Italy international has struggled since signing for the Premier League club from Juventus in the summer, and a quick return to his home country could happen.
Calciomercato have claimed AC Milan are monitoring the situation with Zaza, and if things don’t improve then they could make a swoop for him. AC Milan were linked with Zaza last month before he signed for West Ham, and with the recent investment made into the Serie A side they could look to spend in the next transfer window.
West Ham have an obligation redemption to sign Zaza for €25m, but if his performances don’t improve then all involved may well start looking for a way out.
Zaza was West Ham’s biggest signing in the last window, which ended their search for a top forward. However, Zaza he’s failed to make an impact since arriving in England, and scored no goals in his first four games.
This has coincided with West Ham’s poor form, adding more pressure onto the Italian.
