According to a claim in the Turkish media, Besiktas president Fikret Orman is flying to England to hold talks with Everton over Cenk Tosun, but also to speak to Leicester City about Islam Slimani.
Tosun has been strongly linked with a move to Everton in the past ten days, whilst there have been claims in recent days Besiktas could line up Leicester City’s Slimani to replace him.
Milliyet’s Besiktas reporter Serdar Saridag has posted on Instagram that Orman is travelling to the UK, and will hold talks tomorrow. Saridag there could be a ‘domino effect’ with Tosun signing for Everton, and then Slimani leaving Leicester City for Besiktas.
There have reports in the past few days Tosun’s agent Senol Tosun is already in England to hold talks with Everton over his client.
Orman has confirmed to the Turkish press Everton have tabled a bid for the Turkey international, and has denied claims Besiktas have raised the price.
If Tosun does join Everton, Besiktas have made Slimani their number one target. We covered reports this week the Turkish side are hoping to loan the Leicester City forward for the rest of the season.
