Ryan Gravenberch has featured regularly for Liverpool since he arrived at Anfield from Bayern Munich towards the end of the summer window. He’s managed two goals and two assists from 12 games for the Reds.
The midfielder had a disappointing last season at the Bundesliga side, and his brother, Danzell, has told SoccerNews.nl that the 21-year-old is currently enjoying life at Liverpool.
“He’s doing nicely and starting to get his rhythm. Now he has to get on with it and everything will be fine. I watch all his matches on television,” he said.
Following his move to Liverpool, Ryan had passed up the opportunity to be part of the Netherlands U21 squad during September’s international break. Since then, he has not been called up by Jong Oranje or the Netherlands’ senior team.
Ronald Koeman has overlooked the former Ajax man for this month’s games. Despite this, his brother is of the belief things will work out well for Ryan at both club and international level.
“There were some disagreements, but that has now been resolved. Ryan is not there yet, but if he just continues as he is doing, it will happen naturally. He just has to do his thing and hope he gets back into the picture. Just enjoy playing football, the same as me actually,” Danzell explained.
