Director to use relationship with Liverpool to sign Anfield player, offer being lined up

Fotomac claim Fenerbahce are planning to send Yassine Benzia back to Lille and replace him with Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana.

The Turkish newspaper report the England international is a target for the Yellow Canaries and Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli looking to use his previous relationship with Liverpool to land Lallana.

The former Southampton midfielder has struggled to hold down a regular starting place in Jurgen Klopp’s team for the past couple of seasons, mainly due to injuries.

This season the 30 year old has made only 7 appearances for Liverpool and Fotomac say Fenerbahce are ready to make a loan offer, with an option to buy

Before his injuries Lallana was a key player for Jurgen Klopp but he’s fallen down the pecking order, especially after the arrivals of Xherdan Shaqiri and Naby Keita in the summer.

Lallana is under contract at Anfield until 2020.
