In recent days, the English media reported that Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is interested in returning to Borussia Dortmund.

With the player having another unsatisfactory season with the Red Devils, it was claimed they want him gone, and he’d be fine with a return to the Bundesliga side.

It turns out the German media went after the story, and Bild has interesting information about that.

The outlet managed to learn that Sancho’s departure from Manchester United to Borussia Dortmund this summer is ‘not excluded’.

It’s claimed that even though there haven’t been direct talks with the 23-year-old yet, club director Sebastian Kehl is often in contact with his ‘advisors’ from Project Elite Group.

Bild claims there’s no chance of a buy-back, since the player is worth €55m, so ‘only a loan would be conceivable’ for the Bundesliga side.

Jadon Sancho joined Manchester United in a €85m deal in 2021. So far, he only has 11 goals and five assists in 72 appearances for the Red Devils, and that’s definitely below expectations following what he used to produce at Borussia Dortmund.
