It appears that Arsenal, as they close in on a transfer for Leandro Trossard, are about to pull off another deal alongside it.

That is for centre-back Jakub Kiwior, who is close to signing for the Gunners after the Premier League side reached an agreement with Spezia.

That is according to Gianluca Di Marzio, who took to Twitter to reveal that the Poland International will cost Arsenal €25m + bonuses.

In fact, the deal is currently at such a stage that the player will leave ‘between tomorrow or the day after’, meaning between Saturday and Sunday, to go to London to undergo his medical ahead of the move.

This has been backed up in Poland by Meczyki, who stated earlier that Spezia and Arsenal were in ‘very advanced talks’ regarding the centre-back’s transfer.

Their claim was that it would cost the Gunners ‘over €20m’, which falls in line with what Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting.

Other clubs, such as Juventus, Napoli and Milan, were reportedly interested, but it seems Arsenal are the ones who have won the race.

This is further backed up by Polish journalist Tomasz Wlordaczyk, who also took to Twitter to say the deal is ‘almost done’, and will sign a five and half year deal with Arsenal
