Earlier on Thursday, we covered the latest regarding Dusan Vlahovic and a potential move to Tottenham for the player.

The striker will not be renewing at Fiorentina, and with Fabio Paratici a big fan of his dating back to his time at Juventus, there was a belief he could try and gift the player to Antonio Conte in January.

However, Gianluca Nani, an experienced director of football, believed that would not be the case, feeling that despite the strong rumours, Spurs might not have ‘an extra budget’ for the next transfer window.

There was no mention of a fee, but Romeo Agresti, speaking to Juventibus on Twitch and relayed by Calciomercato.it, fixed that for everyone.

He said: “Fiorentina want to sell him in January to avoid dangerous dynamics. There have been a couple of trips to England to explore the local market. A price has been fixed: €80m. Fiorentina don’t want to sit down and talk to Juventus”.

That will be good news for Tottenham, who seemingly have an advantage over the Serie A side, as the Florence based club seemingly aren’t keen to bolster league rivals.

The price is high, though, if it is indeed set at €80m, which would therefore corroborate what Nani was saying about the whole thing.

Perhaps one for the summer if Fiorentina refuse to lower their demands midway through the season.
