Following Sunday night’s announcement that Tottenham and Antonio Conte had parted ways, it’s clear there will be some changes at the club in the coming months.

The first port of call will be to replace the Italian manager, with many names already floating around, including that of Julian Nagelsmann.

Whoever does end up taking over at Tottenham will then need to assess the squad and decide who he wants to keep, and Calciomercato look at who could stay and who could go.

First, there will need to be a decision taken on the future of Dejan Kulusevski, whose option to buy becomes mandatory if they qualify for the Champions League, if they don’t qualify for the European elite.

Beyond that, there could be an exit, and that would be Ivan Perisic, described as a Conte ‘loyalist’ after he followed the Italian manner to Tottenham in the summer when his contract at Inter Milan ran out.

In fact, ‘it’s not excluded’ the player ‘could leave Spurs in case of convincing offers’, as he will only have one year left on his contract next summer, having signed on until 2024 when he first joined.

A lot will rest on both the player and the next manager, but the Croatian’s focus, for now, will be to end the season on a positive note, and help Tottenham finish as high up the table as possible.
