As Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen continues to be a constant topic in the rumour mill, we continue seeing all types of claims regarding his future.
Checking the European press on Thursday, two reports stand out. One of them comes from Spanish outlet El Desmarque, saying Real Madrid are looking to sell Casemiro.
Their article also talks about the incoming transfers which Florentino Perez has been planning for the club, and they don’t really believe that he’s going after Eriksen.
El Desmarque writes that the midfielder isn’t in good form, and the club president has ‘stopped trying to sign him’.
But Tuttosport has different information. They first bring an article about Juventus’ interest in signing Isco in January.
Then they write that in the winter transfer window, it’s possible that Real Madrid will sign a replacement for the Spaniard. That’s because they will ‘launch a final offensive’ to sign Eriksen from Tottenham. And that’s how they finish the story.
As ever, the interest in Eriksen is hyped in England and Denmark but is lukewarm elsewhere.
