With news that Chelsea were on the verge of selling Christian Pulisic to AC Milan, there was hope the player could be in Italy this week.
In fact, many believed the forward would arrive on Tuesday, but Gianluca Di Marzio, on his website, has an update on the situation.
He explains the Chelsea player ‘will not arrive tomorrow’, meaning Tuesday, but everyone is ‘working to make him arrive’ on Wednesday.
As recalled, the two sides reached an agreement last week for the player’s transfer, who had been out of favour with the Premier League side for quite some time.
Chelsea, after paying €64m to sign him, are letting him go for around a third of that, as Todd Boehly continues his big clear-out of the squad, trying to make it more to Mauricio Pochettino’s liking, as the Argentine was given the task of steadying what appeared to be a sinking ship last season under first Graham Potter and then Frank Lampard.
