It’s been a while since West Ham started being linked to Yacine Brahimi. And it’s also been a while since Hammers officials started watching Porto regularly.
So with A Bola newspaper making claims English clubs would be keen on the player, West Ham are one of the first to come to mind.
It’s said that Stellar Group, the company which takes care of Brahimi’s career now, have let Porto know there’s English interest, with West Ham not named directly.
Porto want €20m for the 50% they own of the player.
Brahimi is always mentioned as someone who would love to play in the Premier League, so the summer is seen as a very good opportunity for him and for those interested.
The winger has been having a very good season in Portugal, and €40m sounds like a reasonable price in the current market, especially for the Premier League. That figure isn’t likely to put West Ham off, and Slaven Bilic could have a genuine chance of signing Brahimi.
