Just a few days ago, Chelsea loanee Diego Moreira claimed he was focused on Lyon, knowing his future would be with the French side at least until the summer.
All of a sudden, it seems the Ligue 1 side want to replace him with an Everton player.
That’s today reported by RMC Sport. There it’s first claimed that Lyon intend to send Moreira back to Chelsea.
And while Lyon sort out that process with Chelsea, it’s reiterated that they’re interested in signing Arnaut Danjuma from Everton.
It’s said that the Ligue 1 side are ‘pushing’ to get the Dutchman, while he ‘wants’ the move as well.
There are no details on how the talks with Everton are going, with the Toffees having him on loan from Villarreal.
Danjuma has two goals and 18 assists for Everton this season, and it was previously reported they want a replacement in before letting him go.
