Liverpool’s links with Fluminense midfielder André may not have been the strongest lately, but the Reds still get a lot of mentions in the race for the player.

The latest piece on the 22-year-old’s future comes from Globo Esporte, with the website claiming the Brazilian club may wait until the summer to get the sale done.

Even though Liverpool and other clubs are interested, Fluminense are still to receive official bids, and they’re starting to think that may have to do with the winter window not attracting such big investments.

The Tricolor’s idea is to sell André as the club’s biggest business ever, so they won’t just let him go for the first offer that shows up.

Regarding Liverpool, they do get named a couple of times. First with Globo Esporte recalling that they placed a €30m bid for André back in August, and he was held to play the rest of the Copa Libertadores campaign.

It’s then said the Reds sent a scout to watch him in the tournament’s competition.

Now it remains to be seen whether Jürgen Klopp’s side will make another attempt, as even a December deal for a summer move is now said to be a possibility for Fluminense.
