Torino are already planning what to do with the money they will receive from Leeds United for defender Pontus Jansson. The Swede is set to join the Championship side on a permanent deal for a transfer fee reported to be €4.2m.

Tuttosport have today explained Torino are looking to go on a spending spree in the summer transfer window, and they will use the money from Leeds United to fund this.

Jansson played his 20th game for Leeds United in yesterday’s 3-0 victory over Rotherham United, meaning the clause has been activated for the Sweden international to become a permanent fixture at Elland Road.

Jansson has been one of Leeds United’s standout players since his arrival in in the summer transfer window. The 25-year-old has formed a solid partnership with Kyle Bartley in the centre of Leeds United’s defence, and this has been key in Garry Monk’s side climbing up the table.
