Fanatik claim Fenerbahçe will step up their pursuit of Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri. The Turkish side are already looking to next season after yet another disappointing campaign, which has seen them collect 62 points from 33 games.

The Turkish newspaper has reported Fenerbahçe officials are set to meet with Manchester City with regards to signing Nasri this summer, and they’re hopeful they can convince both the player and his club.

Sevilla haven’t exercised their redemption clause and subsequently Nasri will return to Manchester City. However, it’s understood he doesn’t have a future at the Etihad, and may have to move on in the next window.

The Frenchman’s chances of getting playing time with the Premier League side will become more limited after the signing of Bernardo Silva from Monaco, and Fanatik say the Turkish giants are looking to take advantage of the situation.

Nasri is reportedly considering his options and Fanatik claim Manchester City want the 29-year-old to decide on his future soon.
