According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are showing interest in Tottenham Hotspur defender Djed Spence.

The Turkish champions have made it one of their priorities to bring in a right back this summer after releasing Serge Aurier last month.

Gs Gazete today report on Galatasaray’s pursuit for a right back in this window and the Tottenham man has emerged as a target. It’s claimed Spence isn’t in Ange Postecoglou’s plans for next season and subsequently Spurs are looking to offload the 23-year-old on loan to a club that can give him regular games.

The Turkish media outlet report Galatasaray are ready to enter into official talks to sign the youngster and Spence looks to be a good fit for them.

Due to his potential and that he could be brought in for a low fee this has made him an ideal candidate for Gala. The Istanbul club had hoped to bring in Aaron Wan-Bissaka but were priced out of deal due to Manchester United’s asking price.

Spence spent last season on loan at Genoa where he made 16 apperances for the Serie A side. He’s contracted to Tottenham until June 2027.
