For the past few weeks, we’ve covered numerous stories from the Italian media linking Dean Huijsen to Newcastle United.

The Magpies are said to be in a battle with Borussia Dortmund to land the Juventus player, who’s spent this season on loan at AS Roma.

As Gazzetta Dello Sport today shares a story on the Bianconeri’s plans for the summer, they actually have something interesting about the Newcastle target.

It’s said that Juventus plan to pay for the signing of Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori by ‘sacrificing’ Huijsen.

The outlet also points out that the 19-year-old is ‘at the top’ of Newcastle’s and Borussia Dortmund’s thoughts.

The recent reports from Italy regarding the Magpies’ chase for Huijsen have been claiming that he’s not the only Juventus player wanted, as Matias Soulé is also on their sights.

That’s why a double deal is mentioned many times, with Newcastle possibly offering €60m for the duo.

Either way, it’s interesting to see that the Old Lady are ready to let Huijsen go, and they’ll be waiting for the summer offers as soon as the season comes to an end.
