According to VOLE commentator Ugur Karakullukcu, Galatasaray are looking to sign Fulham’s Jean Michael Seri on a permanent basis.
The Turkish side loaned Seri at the start of the season from the Championship side, and his redemption clause is currently set at €18m.
Seri made a slow start to his Galatasaray career but the 28 year old has managed to turn things around and is now a key player in Fatih Terim’s side.
Karakullukcu says Gala boss Terim is a big fan of the Ivorian midfielder, and would like to sign him on a permanent basis.
Galatasaray will reportedly start negotiations with Fulham at the end of the season. However, given their finances it’s unlikely they will pay €18m for the player, and will look for Fulham to reduce the fee.
That should be possible, given Fulham will surely be looking to move on, and it doesn’t seem like there’s other clubs willing to go near that amount.
Seri has made 32 appearances for Galatasaray in all competitions, scoring one goal. His contract at Craven Cottage will expire at the end of June 2022.
