As Benfica are looking to offload many players from the squad this summer, the club’s president Luis Filipe Vieira is said to be in London as he negotiates some of these sales.
And according to Record, one of the names on his agenda is Victor Lindelof’s, who has been repeatedly linked to Chelsea by the Portuguese press.
The newspaper says that the Portuguese club wouldn’t let Lindelof leave for less than his release clause, which is €30m.
In the past few weeks, it was reported that Benfica would try to give Lindelof a new contract so they could raise his release clause so he would only leave for more money.
It’s known that Vieira is in England to negotiate some sales and loan to Wolverhampton, but Record have dragged Lindelof into the equation.
