Eintracht Frankfurt are preparing themselves for a ‘very hot transfer summer’ as Barcelona and Manchester United eye striker André Silva.
That’s according to BILD, who provide information on Eintracht’s planning for what could be a very busy summer of comings and goings at the German club.
Silva has been in sensational form for the Bundesliga side this season, with 21 goals in 24 league games, meaning he is joint second in the scoring charts with Erling Haaland.
That form has earned him plenty of attention, with several big sides in Europe, including Barcelona and Manchester United, all thought to be considering a possible move.
They state that there will be ‘plenty of movement’ when it comes to the club’s forward line this summer, regardless of how the season finishes, hinting they are expecting a move to happen for Silva.
It’s also stated that ‘one thing is clear’, that ‘a lot of money’ will be moved in Frankfurt this summer when it comes to transfers in and out and renewals for current stars.
The tone is very much that they expect one of the suitors for Silva to come forward at some point, although when that will happen, if it does at all, remains to be seen.
At the moment, the Catalan media very much aren’t pushing a potential move to Barcelona, which would suggest there’s not much in it at present.
It’s very likely that’s the case for Manchester United, too, with it far more probable he’s simply on a list of potential targets than anything else at this point.
