In need of regular playing time in the second half of the 2021/22 campaign, Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil decided to join Valencia on a loan deal in the January window.
Operating mainly on the left wing, he made 17 appearances in all competitions for Los Ches, including an appearance in the Copa del Rey final, which they lost to Real Betis on penalties.

Los Ches hope to take advantage of this, given that Gil ‘wants to return’ to Valencia.
Valencia are left with ‘almost no wide players’ at the moment. This isn’t encouraging for them and the situation could get worse if Spurs end up cashing in on Gil’s sale to another club this summer.
