This morning, we covered a piece from Portuguese newspaper A Bola which once again linked Leicester City to Porto striker Moussa Marega.

It’s been claimed that the Dragons are letting the player leave the club, and the Foxes are one of the sides who’ve shown interest in signing him in the past.

Now one of the reasons why Porto are selling Marega is actually pretty interesting for Leicester City, as the Portuguese club should sell several of their players in the next transfer window.

A Bola writes that the Dragons need to make €100m with sales before the end of June, otherwise they would be punished for not respecting Financial Fair Play.

There are a few reasons to believe that Leicester City could get involved in this operation. The Foxes have been close to Porto for a few years now, since club scouts frequently watch the Dragons, which resulted in their signing of Ricardo Pereira on a €22m deal in 2018.

This season, the Premier League side continues to be linked to the likes of Moussa Marega and Brazilian left-back Alex Telles, who’s been said to be a potential replacement for Ben Chilwell.

And considering their scouting job at Porto, which has been covered by us at least five times this season, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Leicester moving for more club stars in the summer. Player such as Otavio, Luis Diaz and Fabio Silva could prove to be interesting options for the Foxes.
