Following news that Bayern Munich had set a deadline to Tottenham to agree a transfer for Harry Kane, Levy really isn’t impressed.

This comes courtesy of Philipp Kessler, who explained that the reports of the ultimatum from the Germans are true, but that the Spurs chairman ‘was not amused’ about it.

In fact, there is a feeling that the entire transfer is now a ‘tightrope act’, which could be on the brink of either happening or falling to pieces.

This hasn’t stopped Bayern from trying their luck, however, as a new bid has been made.

That comes from Florian Plettenberg in Germany, who took to Twitter to reveal that the Bavarians have now broken the €100m mark for the England international.

Kane has long been the subject of discussions between the two sides, but Daniel Levy made it clear he wouldn’t let his player leave for what he thought was an unreasonable fee, always targeting £100m as a price.

This was all despite the forward only having one year left on his contract with Tottenham.

However, Bayern Munich have now come out all guns blazing, as Plettenberg states that the Bundesliga side have made a ‘new offer of more than €100m’ for the striker.

That’s with bonuses included, meaning the base fee could be below the €100m mark.

Now, they are expecting an answer from Levy in the next few hours, and hopefully it will be the positive one they want.

We, however, will not be holding our breaths.
