Juventus signed Renato Veiga on loan from Chelsea in January but there is now interest from Tottenham and Brighton, as they look to bring the defender back to the Premier League.

Despite being injured for a few weeks, Veiga has impressed during his short time in Turin.

He has played six Serie A games and two Champions League games, featuring regularly under both Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor.

TuttoSport have looked at the Portuguese’s situation and they state while Juve want him available for the Club World Cup, Tottenham and Brighton could threaten that possibility.

The Bianconeri are trying to make sure that they keep the versatile player for the first few days of June.

While Chelsea are asking for €28m to sell him permanently, Juve are not trying to do that and only want a brief extension of the loan.

Talks between Juve and the player’s entourage are expected in the next few weeks. It remains to be seen if Tottenham and Brighton play an active role in the situation or not, but it is fair to assume that they would be interested in a summer move.
