Juventus are looking to include midfielder Adrien Rabiot as part of a deal for Chelsea’s Jorginho this summer.
That’s according to But! Football Club, who say the Frenchman is no longer a part of Max Allegri’s plans and so Juventus want to use him to their advantage.
They explain that Allegri is keen to reshape his midfielder in the summer transfer window, and having missed out on Ryan Gravenberch, they have now activated ‘other leads’ around Europe.
They have already targeted Paul Pogba on a free transfer and Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and now Chelsea’s Jorginho can be added to that list.
The Italian’s deal at Stamford Bridge is set to expire in 2023, and that makes him ‘highly attractive’, although it is difficult to predict if Chelsea would be open to a deal.
That is where Rabiot comes into the mix as he is ‘appreciated’ by Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, who worked with him during his time in charge at Paris Saint Germain.
He would be more than happy with a reunion, and so Juventus are working on ‘finding the right formula’ to include him a deal to sign Jorginho.
The midfielder is not the only one that Juventus like, as they are also looking at Emerson Palmieri and Timo Werner, but it is Jorginho they really want and are trying to work how to get while also getting rid of Rabiot in one fell swoop.
