With Bayern Munich letting Benjamin Pavard move to Inter Milan, it now seems they look at Chelsea for a replacement for him.

According to Bild, the Bundesliga giants target Trevoh Chalobah, and opened talks for his signing.

Their story claims that Bayern and Chelsea are holding ‘intensive talks’ about the move, although they need to sort out some differences to get to a deal.

The German side would like to sign Chalobah on a loan, while Chelsea ‘reject’ that possibility, and want him gone on a permanent transfer. Even in case of a loan, the Blues would like to include an obligatory buying clause in the agreement.

That’s why Bayern may have to look at other options. One of them is Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier, who’s said to be in their ‘list’. The problem is that the Bundesliga club are pretty much tired of negotiating with Daniel Levy following the whole Harry Kane saga, and would rather avoid that.

Since Thomas Tuchel previously managed Chalobah at Chelsea, a pursuit to bring him to Munich is set to continue.
