AC Milan are keeping ‘a close eye’ on Nikola Vlasic’s performances at Torino, with a potential move for the West Ham man being considered.
That’s according to Calciomercato Web, who say the Serie A giants are eyeing up the Croatian as Charles De Ketelaere continues to struggle.
The Belgian arrived in a €30m deal from Club Brugge and was supposed to be the ‘lighthouse’ for the attacking part of the team.
They could look to fix that in the summer transfer window and West Ham’s Vlasic is the man who has caught their eye.
He’s been shining on loan at Torino and Milan have taken notice, believing he could be the player to ‘solve all the problems’ they are facing in the attacking third.
Vlasic is valued at around €20m and Torino have an option to sign him permanently for €18m, including bonuses, but should they decide not to take that up for any reason then Milan ‘would be ready to intervene’.
The move would be welcomed by Stefano Pioli, who has been following Vlasic for ‘a long time’ and would be more than happy for the West Ham man to be added to his squad.
