Malmö FF fitness coach Mark Piros-Read will make a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
That’s according to the Swedish club, who confirmed the Englishman’s move to Molineux on their official website earlier today.
“After nine years at the club, Mark Piros-Read is now moving on to new assignments at Wolverhampton Wanderers,” a statement read.
Prior to making a switch to Malmö FF, the fitness coach had two spells at Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion.
He worked as a sports science intern at the Welsh club during the 2012/13 season, when they were in the top flight. After his time at Swansea, he joined the Baggies in October 2013 before leaving them for Malmö in the summer of 2014.
The new opportunity at Wolves will allow Piros-Read to return to the Premier League, after his short spells with both Swansea and West Brom earlier in his career. Neither Malmö nor Piros-Read have revealed when he would start his new role in England.
Fitness coach Oscar Caro was part of Julen Lopetegui’s backroom staff at Wolves and left the club when the former Sevilla manager stepped down as the manager back in August.
