A transfer window must be close, because the Turkish media are again linking Domagoj Vida with a move to England.
Turkish newspaper Takvim claim West Ham United and Norwich City are interested in signing the Besiktas defender ahead of the January transfer window.
It’s reported both Premier League clubs are looking to sign defenders in the new year and Vida is said to be an option.
Norwich were linked with a move for the Croatian defender earlier this month and Takvim now claim West Ham, who were linked ahead of the summer, have rejoined the race to sign him. According to Takvim, the two clubs are preparing to make an offer for the 30 year old.
Besiktas need money to sign new players in the January window and recent reports from the Turkish press suggested Vida could leave because of this.
The former Dynamo Kyiv defender has been one of the best players for Besiktas this season and has made 14 appearances for the Super Lig club in all competitions, scoring two goals.
Vida’s contract with the Turkish club will expire at the end of June 2022.
