Chelsea are keen on PSG star Javier Pastore, according to claims in the Italian media. Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will apparently be backed by the club leaders in the next window, with claims this week he will be given €100m to re-build the squad.

TMW have revealed Conte is keen on Pastore following reports earlier in the week they also interested in his PSG teammate Edinson Cavani.

The Argentina international has played just two league games under new PSG boss Unai Emery, and last season he also struggled to get games under Laurent Blanc after the French champions bought Angel Di Maria from Manchester United.

It’s been claimed a deal will be difficult for Chelsea to pull off, but in the coming months they will try to make it happen for when the window opens in January.

On Monday we covered reports Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was prepared to back Conte in the New Year by handing the Italian coach €100m to spend in the winter transfer window.

The same reports claimed Chelsea were keen to sign Uruguay international Cavani with Diego Costa possibly going the other way.

It’s open season on Chelsea rumours.
