Turkish newspaper Sabah claims Besiktas have identified Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham as a potential signing ahead of the summer window, but their approach has been snubbed by the Blues.
Besiktas are in the market for a striker after Vincent Aboubakar left the club to join Al Nassr, and Sabah say Abraham is one of their targets.
A Spor commentator Haldun Domac has also reported on the Turkish side’s interest in the Chelsea player, and he says the Premier League side have declined Besiktas’ offer to loan Abraham for a season.
The English striker’s playing time has been reduced since Thomas Tuchel took charge, and there’s been speculation he could be on the move this summer. He didn’t feature in the Champions League final victory over Manchester City, and they recently activated their option to keep Olivier Giroud for another season.
Abraham made 32 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last season and scored 12 goals. His contract with Blues will expire at the end of June 2023.
