Chelsea and Lyon have reportedly found an agreement for the transfer of Malo Gusto.

It’s French outlet RMC Sport who breaks the news, claiming that despite the deal, the player is not moving to England just yet.

The report claims that Gusto is travelling to sign for Chelsea, but then he’s set to be loaned back to Lyon until the end of the season.

Despite recent reports about how much this deal would cost the Blues, RMC Sport reporter Fabrice Hawkins claims the amount has ‘not been filtered’ just yet.

The transfer is mixed news for Lyon fans, who this week saw club chief Jean-Michel Aulas insisting that the player would stay at least until the summer.

He will, but will then leave.

Aulas wanted to ‘make it clear’ he’d stay at the club and was technically correct.

Claims from France had been saying the Blues had offered over €20m for the move, while Lyon demanded €30m. But it seems a matter of time until we see how much that has really cost.
