Juventus’ trip to London may have more reasons than just the club’s Champions League match against Tottenham Hotspur this Wednesday.

The Old Lady’s vice-president Pavel Nedved has been spotted meeting Nelio Lucas, from Doyen Group, in a hotel in the English capital. And that has obviously created a lot of transfer rumours.

The main among them is about Anthony Martial. According to Calcio Mercato, the Manchester United player has Doyen as one of the owners of his economic rights, and therefore, that could mean that there are negotiations on with Juventus.

But the website doesn’t seem too convinced that the transfer is likely to happen. Even though Juve have already shown their interest for the player, it’s claimed that Martial has been showing good form under José Mourinho recently, which leaves ‘no margins’ to this kind of operation.

Another problem for the Italian side would be Martial’s price, since Manchester United would value him at around €70m.

Calcio Mercato even leaves a bit of hope saying Nedved could be just starting a fresh contact, having a ‘chat’, with no big aspirations, as many other deals start this way. Especially because the contract with Manchester United expires in 2019 (they don’t mentioned the extra year renewal option). But for now, that’s not a transfer story they are taking very seriously.
