Reading boss Jaap Stam could take over the vacant managerial job at Swansea City, reports De Telegraaf.
There have been reports in the English media that Stam isn’t particularly happy at Reading due to the rumours of a possible takeover by Chinese brother and sister Dai Yongge and Dai Xiu Li.
Stam confirmed to the media he is set to hold talks with the current Thai owners, and it remains to be seen if he will remain at Reading.
Swansea City are currently lying in the relegation zone, and Stam must choose between the Welsh club or the possibility of Reading getting promotion to the Premier League for next season, with the Championship side currently third in the table.
Stam was appointed as Reading boss only six months ago, but De Telegraaf believe there is a chance he could join fellow Dutchman Leroy Fer and Mike van der Hoorn at Swansea City.
