Turkish newspaper Hurriyet report Super Lig champions Medipol Basaksehir have tabled a bid for Brighton Hove and Albion left-back Bernardo.
The Istanbul side will compete in the Champions League group stages next season, and after parting ways with former Manchester City defender Gael Clichy they are in the market for a new left-back.
Hurriyet claim the Brighton player is a target for the Bozbaykuslar, and Basaksehir have reportedly submitted a loan bid for him. There is no indication whether the Seagulls will accept this offer from the Super Lig side.
It’s claimed the Istanbul club are also interested in signing Inter Milan’s Dalbert Henrique, and it seems Bernardo is another option.
The Brazilian, who joined Brighton from RB Leipzig for €10m in 2018, made 14 Premier League appearances for Graham Potter’s side last season, but he may look to find another club summer after hardly figuring after the restart.
Bernardo’s contract at the AMEX Stadium will expire at the end of June 2022.
