Italian agent and intermediary Giulio Tedeschi has told Radio Firenzeviola that Tottenham Hotspur must be cautious over making a move for Fiorentina’s Arthur Cabaral.

Spurs star Harry Kane has less than a year left on his deal and has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich. The latest claims in the UK have stated he could also have an option to join Manchester United.

The possibility of losing the striker has seen Tottenham look for options in the market and the 25-year-old has been identified as one of the targets.

Two days ago, Goal Brasil reported Ange Postecoglou’s side have made an approach to sign Cabral. It was also stated Fiorentina have requested €40m to let go of him.

When asked ‘how true’ reports linking the Brazilian to Spurs are, he said: “There is a waltz of the strikers. If Kane were to leave, he would leave a chasm that is difficult to fill and I think it all depends on him. Every year there are reports and then he stays.

“However, Bayern Munich are getting serious about the English striker. Cabral has different characteristics, but he’s not the only name on the list. It can be a gamble.”

Cabral has a contract lasting until 2026 and the agent believes the €40m asking price set by the Italian club seems to be fair.

“For me he’s a player who can have a valuation close to €40m, even with certain bonuses. If this interest were true, I would try to ask for as much as possible,” Tedeschi explained.

It’s to be noted that Tedeschi doesn’t represent or manage the player and was sharing his views on the possibility of him joining Tottenham.

Cabral managed 17 goals and two assists from 48 games last season.
