Brighton & Hove Albion and Watford are both keen on Alberth Elis, reports O Jogo on Friday.
The striker plays for Boavista, and it’s explained his ‘great season’ is seeing him attract interest from elsewhere. It’s not just the English pair chasing him, with interest from clubs throughout France’s Ligue 1, including Bordeaux, Rennes and Nice.
An international for Honduras, the 25-year-old signed for Boavista in September 2020, moving from Houston Dynamo. He’s played 25 Liga NOS matches so far in his first season, and has scored five goals and added the same number of assists.
He scored a goal and added an assist in a 2-0 victory over Belenenses, and then set up teammates twice in a 3-3 draw against Rio Ave.
Both Brighton and Watford are said to have asked about the possible conditions of a move in the summer transfer window.
