A couple of weeks ago, the Italian media revealed Brighton & Hove Albion’s interest in Spezia fullback Emil Holm.

It was TuttoMercatoWeb who claimed the Seagulls were involved in the big race for his signing, while the Serie A side would demand €15m for his sale.

Today, newspaper Tuttosport features a story claiming Juventus are also engaged in a chase for the player, and Brighton’s interest is once again highlighted.

It’s claimed that the Seagulls’ pursuit is actually ‘frightening’ for the Old Lady, especially because they already placed a bid for the signing.

Tuttosport says the Seagulls put €9.5m on the table, and even though that was turned down by Spezia did not stop the Premier League side.

It’s even added that Brighton could be back with a €12m bid today, meaning Wednesday.

Juventus are only said to be observing for now, and apparently don’t have an offer ready to fight the Seagulls in this race.

With De Zerbi’s side getting close to Spezia’s demands, it seems they could end up finding a deal in a chase that didn’t get big attention from the Italian media.
