Bordeaux forward Malcom has claimed he’s not aware if Liverpool or Manchester United are interested in signing him.

With the player linked to both English clubs in the past week, the rumour made quite a big noise in Brazil.

So the 19-year-old gave an interview to the ‘Ora Bolas’ blog from Goal, and commented on all the speculation regarding his future:

“This thing of Liverpool, Manchester, I don’t know anything about it… I’m very calm, I only think about Bordeaux today, I want to do my job well and give French fans lots of joy”, said the player.

“I got to know, yeah, that Sampaoli likes my football, my game style. If the opportunity shows up, I’ll be happy. If it doesn’t, I’ll keep working hard, humble as always”.

Although most of the stories credited the information to The Sun, it was actually Club Call who said Liverpool and United have been scouting the attacker lately.

The 19-year-old left Brazilian side Corinthians in January last year to join Bordeaux on a €5m move. Making the transfer in the January transfer window was a good thing for him to fully adapt for the current season.

As a regular starter for the team, he’s been playing both as a winger and as a secondary striker, and currently has six goals and four assists in 30 appearances.
