In a couple of weeks, the Copa São Paulo is kicking off. The most famous youth tournament in Brazil is a place for scouts from all over the world to check out some talents, and it looks like Liverpool already have some plans.
As reported by O Globo, the Reds are ‘monitoring’ two Fluminense youngsters: Wallace and André. Now the club are expected to have a representative watch them in the U20 competition.
O Globo says Wallace is an advanced midfielder who’s been receiving attention for his assists and goals. He’s currently protected by a €30m release clause. Meanwhile, André is a defensive midfielder and has been standing out with his leadership on the pitch.
The outlet also highlights the fact that Fluminense and Liverpool have a good relationship between them, since they’ve recently negotiated the loan deal which kept midfielder Allan in Rio De Janeiro in 2019. The clubs are currently negotiating his permanent transfer.
