Bournemouth join race for €35m+ Argentine talent – Club waiting for summer auction, Cherries face English competition

AFC Bournemouth are today named as one of the potential destinations for Juventus winger Matías Soulé.

The Argentine youngster is currently having a loan spell at Frosinone, but given the 10 goals scored by him this season, he has also been heavily linked with a summer transfer.

This time, we get to see Bournemouth included in a race for the first time with the likes of Crystal Palace and Southampton, who have often been named as suitors.

It’s made clear that even though Soulé will return to Juventus at the end of the season, his stay with the Bianconeri is ‘far from a given’, as the club know the potential profit they have on their hands.

The Old Lady are said to be waiting for a summer auction, and the minimum amount requested is between €35m and €40m.

It isn’t hard to imagine that amount being put on the table, because besides Bournemouth and the other Premier League sides, even Saudi clubs have been after the 20-year-old, who has since made it clear he wants to stay in Europe going forward.
