Spanish TV show El Chiringuito on Thursday had a live stream on Facebook in which journalist Diego Plaza answered questions from viewers.

With a big audience of Real Madrid fans, there were obviously many questions about the signings which Florentino Perez could make in the next couple of transfer windows.

Among the names mentioned by the journalist, there was Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

He made it clear that this wasn’t pure information, but most of his personal opinion, and said it ‘wouldn’t be anything crazy’ to take the Frenchman out of Old Trafford at this stage.

Plaza stated Paul Pogba isn’t having a good time at Manchester United, which is something anyone watching the situation would be aware, and something France manager Didier Deschamps has mentioned.

The journalist went on to say that instead of the €120m demanded by the Red Devils one or two summers ago, the midfielder would be available for between €60m and €80m, and that’s why he becomes a good option for the Galacticos.

We probably don’t even have to mention the history that El Chiringuito have with pushing for Real Madrid transfers, especially with Paul Pogba, as the player’s brother is often speaking to them claiming he’d favour the move.

Still, it’s interesting to see that people in Spain believe the Frenchman would cost such an amount. At this point, €80m doesn’t sound like a bad deal for Manchester United.
