Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may have just arrived to Arsenal this year, but apparently he already has quite an influence over the club’s plans.

That’s according to the good old Don Balon, who claims the striker has told the club to sign a specific player in the next summer window.

The target in question is Ousmane Dembele, Aubameyang’s former teammate at Borussia Dortmund, who could now, at least according to Don Balon, be leaving Barcelona this summer.

According to the Spanish website, the Frenchman has three possible destinations in the next transfer window, and this ‘tip’ given by Auba to the Gunners has put them as strong contenders.

The website doesn’t really say how much would Dembele cost, especially because there’s the option of a swap involved. That’s the case of a possible deal with Atletico Madrid, who could take the player as a discount when sending Antoine Griezmann the other way.

But with Arsene Wenger in charge of Arsenal for over 20 years, and club directors working on transfer deals on a daily basis, would Aubameyang really have this much of a say on the transfer plans? We find it a bit unlikely.
