Arsenal are set to complete the signing of New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner, according to updates on Wednesday.

Journalist Taylor Twellman, from ESPN, reports there’s already an agreement between the clubs and the personal terms have already been signed.

The report claims it’s ‘officially all done’, with the transfer only depending on a work permit and a medical.

Turner would stay in MLS until the summer, where he’ll continue playing for New England Revolution, and only then complete his move to the Gunners.

He’s belonged to New England since 2016, and despite a couple of loans at Richmond Kickers, he’s been featuring regularly for Revolution in the past few years, with 133 appearances for the club.

As pointed out by AS, he won the Golden Glove in the Gold Cup in 2021, where he was champion with the United States, and was named the MVP in the last MLS All-Star game.

Twellman’s report doesn’t say how much Arsenal are spending on the deal.
