Arsenal are in ‘pole position’ to sign Real Betis midfielder Nabil Fekir, with the player having changed agents ahead of a potential move this summer.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who provide their own information on a quickly growing transfer story ahead of the summer window.
Fekir has emerged as a target for Arsenal over the last few days, with several reports in Spain yesterday indicating that they are ‘very interested’ and ‘more than decided’ about making a move.
They describe them as one of the ‘main agencies’ on the international scene, hinting that there will be moves in that area in the summer transfer window.
Indeed it’s explained that the ‘market sirens’ are ‘already sounding insistently’, and according to TMW’s information, one of Fekir’s ‘great admirers’ is Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, so much so that they are in ‘pole position’ to secure his signature.
It’s stated that the change is agent should be seen in view of a possible transfer this summer and an indication the midfielder would be more than open to one.
There’s no indication that Arsenal have made their move as yet, but the opportunity is there, once Fekir has helped Betis secure a European place for next season.
